What payment methods do you accept?
We accept various payment methods:

I finalised the purchase but the page keeps loading endlessly
It’s normal for the page to take a while to load when you finalise your order. It’s important to let the page load and not refresh the page.

How do I know my payment was successful?
We work with several payment processing partners who accept credit card payments and other payment methods such as MB Way, Multibanco and PayPal.
Purchases by credit card, PayPal, MB Way and Multibanco are approved automatically as soon as you finalise the payment.
In some cases, your bank may contact you to confirm certain details relating to your purchase. This is a normal procedure and aims to protect your account from fraud.
We will only dispatch your order once payment has been confirmed.
Shipping, Exchanges and Returns
My parcel is marked as completed but I haven't received it, what should I do?
Please check that:
- The order has not been delivered to another authorised person;
- If you live in a condominium or flat, check that it is not at the concierge;
- Check that the delivery address is correctly filled in.
If you still have any doubts, please contact us with the order number and email address you used during the purchase process.
Can I change my product?
In the event of product defects or irregularities, we will exchange or refund the purchase price, provided that the following conditions are met:
- The customer must request the exchange or refund within 30 calendar days of receiving the product by e-mailing info@drpeanut.pt. Shipping costs will be the responsibility of Dr Peanut.
- The product must be returned in its original packaging, accompanied by the invoice.
Once received, the product will be analysed in order to ascertain the defect or irregularity reported by the customer. - If the defect or irregularity is proven, Dr Peanut will exchange it for the same product in perfect condition.
The cost of sending the new product will be borne by Dr Peanut.
Dr Peanut disclaims any obligation to make any exchange in which the product does not comply with the conditions mentioned on the shipping and returns page.
Can I back out of the purchase?
The deadline for withdrawing from the purchase of the product is up to 15 (fifteen) calendar days from the date of receipt; for the purpose of returning the product, in which case the following conditions must be observed:
- In the event of a return, the product must be returned in its original packaging, unopened, with no signs of use and accompanied by the purchase invoice.
- The customer must request the return by emailing info@drpeanut.eu, stating the order number and the email address used in the purchase process. The cost of sending the product back will be borne by Dr Peanut. However, the return of the product is the customer’s responsibility and must be sent by courier.
Once the product has been returned, Dr Peanut will check whether the above conditions have been met. If so, we will refund the full purchase price.
How do I get my money back after cancelling/withdrawing from a purchase?
For credit card purchases, your card issuer will be notified and a refund will be issued.
The refund period is the responsibility of the card administrator.
For purchases paid by PayPal, the amount will be refunded to the same account you used during the purchase, within 3 business days.
For purchases paid by MB Way, the amount will be refunded to the same phone number you used during the purchase, within 3 business days.
For purchases paid with or Multibanco, the refund will be made by bank transfer to the IBAN indicated by the customer. You can send your IBAN via email to info@drpeanut.pt and provide your order number and the email you used during the purchase process.
Dr. Peanut disclaims the obligation to cancel any purchase in which the product does not meet the requirements described below:
- The period for canceling the purchase of the product is up to 15 (fifteen) calendar days, counting from the date of receipt;
- In case of return, the product must be returned in its original packaging, unopened, without signs of use and accompanied by a purchase invoice.
- The customer must request a return via email at info@drpeanut.pt. Product shipping costs will be borne by Dr. Peanut. However, returning the product is the customer’s responsibility and must send it via a carrier.
- After the product has been withdrawn, Dr. Peanut will verify whether the aforementioned conditions have been met. If so, we will provide a refund of the full purchase price.
Shipping, Exchanges and Returns
How is my personal information used?
We do not sell and do not allow any type of access to your personal data.
Such information is for internal use only and is used only to facilitate the delivery process of your product.
We do not have access to your credit card details.
The entire authorization process takes place between the user’s computer and the credit card operator’s system, without any human interference, to provide greater security.
Is this site safe?
We guarantee security in the purchasing process and the confidentiality of all your data.
We adopt the most rigorous control standards, and the entire sales process is intermediated by specialized and reliable companies.
Furthermore, the payment environment is audited and protected against hacking, through the SSL certificate.
This type of protocol is recommended for sending information such as credit card numbers, passwords and any other type of confidential information via the internet.
SSL can be identified through the browser’s status bar, being identified by a padlock or a key, which indicate secure communication.
Regarding payments, we only work with payment gateways with the PCI Certified seal.
PCI was developed to strengthen the security of credit card data.
As a rule, all service providers or retailers that store, process or transmit card data must adhere to the PCI standard.
What can I do to make browsing safer?
Even with all the security provided by our website, we suggest some good practices to further increase security when using our website, and also on other websites:
- Avoid very simple or obvious passwords, such as date of birth or sequence of numbers. We also suggest changing passwords regularly.
- When using public Wi-Fi networks, avoid entering credit card information or other banking details.
- Always check the website URL. A common type of fraud is to create a URL very similar to the original, to try to capture customer data.
- Pay attention to incoming emails. Always check the sender and content of the email before making any click.
Why do I need to provide my personal data?
We collect user data for two purposes:
- Manage the entire purchasing process for our customers;
- Keep users of our website informed about news and promotions, through emails or telephone contact.
Under no circumstances do we sell or will sell our customers’ information, nor do we and will not purchase customer information from third parties.
What are "Cookies"?
Our website uses “Cookies” to track users’ navigation and store information relevant to their session.
“Cookies” are small data files stored temporarily, which store information such as: session data, shopping cart status, selected language, among other data.
This information is stored on the customer’s own device (desktop, tablet or smartphone), with the aim of recognizing their access to our website, allowing us to offer the best possible shopping and browsing experience.
